Bentley Automobile, Laval, Quebec, Canada, is seeking an experienced Ding Repair Technician to join its dynamic team.
Job Description As a Ding Repair Technician, you will help restore the appearance of our clients' vehicles with accuracy and efficiency. You will primarily use paintless dent repair (PDR) techniques and specialized tools to reshape and harmonize the bodywork, while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Diagnose the extent of damage and determine the best repair method.
- Perform dent repairs using PDR procedures and, when necessary, traditional manual techniques.
- Collaborate with the body shop team to ensure impeccable aesthetic restoration.
- Prepare surfaces, perform any touch-ups, and verify the quality of repairs before returning the vehicle.
- Keep the workshop organized and safe, and follow procedures and standards governing the work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive dent repair.
- Mastery of PDR techniques and specialized tools (hand tools, mallets, dollies, dent repair systems, etc.).
- Good knowledge of common materials (steel and aluminum) and ability to assess the feasibility of repairs.
- Attention to detail, precision, and excellent manual dexterity.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
- Valid driver's license.
