Job Description The position involves performing dent removal on body panels of various vehicles or replacing original manufacturer parts following the manufacturer’s repair process.
Responsibilities
- Examine damages and assess the extent of necessary repairs.
- Perform precision dent removal using appropriate manual and electric tools.
- Ensure the alignment and flatness of repaired surfaces.
- Prepare, clean, and maintain tools and the workspace.
- Comply with safety procedures and quality standards.
- Collaborate with bodyshop technicians and production teams to ensure timely delivery and optimal customer service.
- Document work performed and report any anomalies or need for additional repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in dent removal or a similar role.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of dent removal techniques and related tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and simple diagrams.
- Team spirit, independence, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license (an asset).
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle heavy parts.
