Job Description CARSTAR St-Félix-de-Valois is seeking an experienced paintless dent repair (PDR) technician to join our shop. You will help restore vehicles damaged in an accident to their original condition, using paintless dent repair techniques, with precision and attention to detail, in a professional, people-centered, and industry-standard certified environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform paintless dent repair on a variety of models and body configurations, adhering to CARSTAR quality standards.
• Apply PDR techniques and tools (adhesive pulling, glue pulling, straightening tools, heating/cooling as needed) to restore the original shape of the panels.
• Diagnose cosmetic damages and propose optimal methods to minimize touch-ups and ensure an invisible finish.
• Collaborate with the body and paint teams to ensure repair consistency and meet deadlines.
• Maintain an organized, safe workstation in accordance with safety and quality control procedures.
• Document repairs and communicate results to the supervisor and, if necessary, to the client.
• Participate in continuous process improvement and in the training of new talent.

Candidate profile

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in paintless dent repair (PDR) or an equivalent role.
• Proficiency in paintless dent repair techniques and tools and knowledge of different body structures.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and ability to work with precision.
• Team spirit, ability to communicate effectively, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Autonomy, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Fluent French; English is an advantage.
• Automotive body repair training or certification is desirable.
