Position Overview
We are seeking a Commodity Buyer to manage strategic and operational purchasing for automotive commodities such as electrical and mechanical components. This role involves supplier sourcing, negotiations, cost-reduction, and ensuring supply continuity to support production.
Responsibilities
- Manage commodity portfolio for cost and delivery
- Lead supplier sourcing, RFQs, and contract negotiations
- Drive cost reduction and improvement initiatives
- Maintain supplier relationships and performance metrics
- Collaborate cross-functionally for supplier development and new program launches
Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience in purchasing in automotive, aerospace, or transportation sectors
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering
- Strong communication, strategic mindset, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP (SAP ideal)
