Embedded Tester Position
Join our client as a Software Test Engineer with deep knowledge in embedded hardware and software design within an Autosar Classic environment. You'll own requirements, design high-level functional specs, and drive quality through MATLAB/Simulink or C code. Responsibilities include black box test strategy, test case creation and automation, Jenkins setup, and defect lifecycle management. Work with Agile tools like Jira, GitHub, and TestRail, and execute tests using Python, Slash framework, NI LabVIEW, CAPL on Linux and real hardware.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in embedded engineering testing
- Strong Python programming
- Embedded hardware/software and control theory expertise
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink, Jira, GitHub
- Familiar with CAN/Ethernet tools, Autosar, and ISO26262 functional safety.
Location: Waterloo or Ottawa (onsite), 12-month assignment.
