Assistant to the Director of Financial Services to join our dynamic team at Dion Sports, a motorcycle and off-road vehicle dealership in Saint-Raymond. As a key partner to the Director of Financial Services, you will help ensure rigorous financial management and support operational performance across the various departments (service, parts, and sales). Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Financial Services in the daily oversight of the department's financial activities and in preparing reports for management.
• Prepare, analyze and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring data accuracy and variance analyses.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows.
• Participate in the development of the annual budget and forecasts, analyze variances and propose corrective actions.
• Support payroll functions and employee benefits in collaboration with Human Resources, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements (TVQ, TPS, payroll filings).
• Maintain and improve internal controls and financial procedures to promote efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and act as liaison with accounting firms and financial institutions.
• Collaborate with operational teams to optimize costs, inventory management and administrative processes related to service and sales.
• Participate in process optimization and reporting automation projects to improve the quality and speed of financial information.

Desired profile

• Degree in accounting, finance or management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a financial or administrative role related to accounting; candidates with experience in the automotive industry, distribution or retail will be especially valued.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and in accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP Business One, QuickBooks or equivalent); ERP experience is valued.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax obligations in Canada and Quebec (accounts payable, payroll, TVQ/TPS, filings).
• Rigor, analytical ability, excellent organizational skills and service orientation; ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in French; English is an advantage.
• Team spirit, autonomy and discretion in handling financial information.
