Job Description
The Inventory Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and rigorous management of the vehicle inventory to optimize deadlines, presentation, and availability. This person works closely with sales, service, and administration teams to ensure comprehensive inventory cycle tracking.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure the daily management of new and/or used vehicle inventory
- Enter, update, and monitor data in internal systems
- Coordinate vehicle arrivals and departures
- Ensure the accuracy of information related to vehicles (price, equipment, mileage, status, documentation, etc.)
- Monitor preparation and online listing deadlines for vehicles
- Produce and analyze various inventory reports and recommend improvements
- Take photos of new and used vehicles
- Follow up with the service department for repair approvals
