We're looking for (Journeyperson/Journeyman) Automotive Service Technician in Wabush, NL, to perform routine maintenance to complex repairs on compact cars, domestic vehicles and light-duty fleets. This full-time, permanent role is based at our Wabush, NL, Mining Tire Group location.

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
- Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing expertise and supporting their skill development.
- Collaborate with a skilled team on various vehicles, from passenger cars to light trucks.
- Identify mechanical service opportunities working with the Sales team.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
Requirements
- Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified).
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
- Familiarity with VMAC (Vehicle Mounted Air Compressors) is an asset; training provided.
- Experienced in inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on various vehicles.
- Excellent attention to detail and methodical problem-solving.
