Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician (MPI Certified) Full-time, Permanent Location: Swan River, MB

FFUN GMC Swan River is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician who is certified to complete MPI vehicle inspections. Responsibilities
- Perform MPI vehicle inspections and complete required documentation
- Diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicle systems and components
- Perform maintenance services including oil changes, alignments, and manufacturer-recommended maintenance
- Examine and road test vehicles to identify concerns and determine repair requirements
- Communicate with Service Advisors and the Parts Department regarding repairs and parts requirements
- Maintain accurate repair records and provide recommendations for future service needs
- Follow all health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and stay current with evolving vehicle technology
Requirements
- MPI Inspection Certification (required)
- Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician Certification (required)
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
