Job Description

Drive maintenance success as the Maintenance & Facilities Manager at a high-volume automotive plant in Kitchener, Ontario. Lead a skilled trades team and enhance operational reliability.

As the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you will lead a team of 25–30 skilled trades in automotive manufacturing. Your responsibilities include overseeing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting automation issues, ensuring safety compliance, managing budgets, facilitating facility upgrades, and promoting an efficient maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a trades team of 25–30
  • Develop and execute effective preventive maintenance strategies
  • Manage building systems and utility services
  • Support automation system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Ensure continuous improvement and equipment reliability

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance leadership experience
  • Skilled trades background: Millwright, Electrician preferred
  • Expertise in PLC and CNC operations
  • Strong leadership in diverse work environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
