Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Technician (310S) skilled in automotive repair and inspections. You'll diagnose, repair, inspect, and maintain vehicles, with opportunities to mentor apprentices. Flexible schedule including Saturdays.
Candidate Profile
- Knowledgeable, reliable, detail-oriented, careful, and organized
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical repairs and inspections like brakes, exhaust, alignment, A/C
- Conduct general maintenance including oil/fluid changes and tire changes
- Perform frame and pre/post-sale vehicle inspections
- Complete motor vehicle safety inspections
- Provide guidance to apprentices
- Assist with parts sourcing and work orders
Requirements
- 310S Licensed Technician Certification
- Experienced with mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs
- Valid G Driver’s License with clean record
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Own tools
Preferred
- Motor Vehicle Inspection License
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- OEM diagnostics expertise
- Dealership experience
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and motivated work ethic
