Join a tier one global automotive manufacturer in Kitchener as a Manufacturing Engineer! Utilize your expertise in manufacturing engineering principles to enhance process flow and improve efficiencies across high-volume automotive production. Play a vital role in capacity and feasibility studies, new product development, APQP, and Lean Manufacturing implementations. Work with cross-functional teams on equipment specification, process improvement, and quality management. Bring your engineering background and problem-solving skills to a dynamic team focused on innovation and safety.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying Lean Manufacturing and engineering principles for process optimization
  • Performing feasibility studies and process flow analysis
  • Implementing corrective actions and mistake proofing techniques
  • Collaborating on tooling, BOM maintenance, and process audits
  • Supporting safety protocols and handling equipment buy-offs

Ideal candidate profile:

  • 3-5 years in high-volume automotive manufacturing
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, ERP systems, CAD modeling, GD&T, and Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience with quality systems, failure analysis, and automation
