Manufacturing Engineer - Automotive (Toronto)
Join a tier one global automotive manufacturer in Kitchener as a Manufacturing Engineer. Drive improvements in process flow using engineering principles such as Pareto analysis, time studies, and problem-solving tools. Collaborate cross-functionally on feasibility studies, capital equipment purchases, and new product development. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, APQP & PFMEA, corrective actions, and process changes. Maintain BOMs, tooling drawings (SolidWorks), and assist maintenance with tooling/process troubleshooting. A great opportunity for candidates with 3-5 years’ experience in high-volume manufacturing, strong CAD skills, and a passion for continuous improvement!
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in automotive or similar manufacturing
- Post-secondary Engineering education (Mechanical or Manufacturing)
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, APQP, PPAP, and Lean Manufacturing
- CAD modeling proficiency
- Experience with ERP and GD&T
- Familiarity with automation, metal forming, brazing is a plus
