Materials Analyst – Automotive

Our client is seeking a skilled Materials Analyst with expertise in complex supply chains and inventory control systems. This role supports production scheduling for press shop and assembly lines while optimizing supply chains and managing inventories. Your efforts will focus on reducing costs and ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule on-time production.
  • Analyze and forecast material needs.
  • Review and adjust inventory levels.
  • Manage excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Collaborate with procurement and suppliers.
  • Monitor material management KPIs.
  • Implement MRP improvements.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in Automotive Manufacturing Supply Chain Management.
  • Licenses/training in Lean Manufacturing, APICS, CPIM, USMCA.
  • Experience with ERP and inventory software, SAP preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
