Materials Analyst – Automotive

Join our client as a Materials Analyst with expertise in complex supply chains and inventory control systems. You will support production scheduling for press shop and assembly, optimize supply chains, manage inventories, and drive cost reduction while ensuring top safety, quality, productivity, and delivery standards that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating on-time production schedules
  • Analyzing and forecasting material requirements
  • Reviewing min/max inventory levels and suggesting alignment adjustments
  • Conducting inventory audits and managing excess/obsolete materials
  • Collaborating with procurement and suppliers
  • Monitoring performance indicators and implementing MRP improvements

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in Automotive Manufacturing Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, APICS, CPIM, USMCA
  • Proficient with inventory management software, ERP systems, especially SAP
  • Strong data analysis skills and Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
