Materials Planning Analyst - Automotive
Our client seeks a skilled Materials Analyst to manage complex supply chains and inventory controls in automotive manufacturing. You'll support production scheduling, optimize supply chains, and manage inventories to reduce costs while ensuring safety, quality, and excellent delivery standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule production on time
- Analyze and forecast material needs
- Review inventory levels and suggest adjustments
- Audit material inventories regularly
- Coordinate procurement and supplier relationships
- Implement MRP process improvements
- Prepare reports for senior management
- Operate following IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years in automotive manufacturing supply chain management
- Training/licenses in Lean Manufacturing, APICS, CPIM, USMCA
- Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems, especially SAP
- Strong data analysis skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
