Job description
We are looking to join Joliette Mitsubishi, a dealership located in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, Quebec, for an experienced Mechanic / Technician to ensure the maintenance and repair of vehicles for our loyal customers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service vehicles, mechanical and electrical, in accordance with the manufacturer’s standards and internal procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs and quality checks, ensuring the safety and reliability of the vehicles.
- Read and interpret schematics, error codes and diagnostic reports using specialized tools and software.
- Work in collaboration with parts and service teams to ensure efficient interventions and on-time completion.
- Accurately document interventions and update the vehicle records.
- Adhere to safety and quality requirements, and propose improvements when relevant.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an automotive mechanic / technician role.
- DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience; strong knowledge of electronic and diagnostic systems in modern vehicles.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to work flexible hours and adapt to service needs.
- Team spirit, good communication skills and a customer service mindset.
