About the role
Drive your career. Accelerate your success. CSN West Kelowna has an opportunity for a well-rounded Parts Coordinator to join the team. The primary duties of this position involve the shipping and receiving of automotive parts.
Posting details: BC - OVERHEAD WAGES EXPENSE; Full Time; Other; West Kelowna, BC, CA. Salary Range: CA$20.00 To CA$25.00 Hourly.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily release meetings and be prepared to provide status on all parts/sublet issues.
- Follow up with vendors on reorders, late parts, damaged parts and parts credits.
- Negotiate credit amounts and take photos for justification.
- Follow up with shipping companies and communicate updates to appropriate internal team members.
- Enter data into computer systems (i.e. Nexyis and Microsoft Office).
- Prepare all parts orders upon receipt of repair plan.
- Ensure that all insurance policies regarding OEM, aftermarket and used parts are followed.
- Receive, unpack and check all incoming parts.
- Mirror incoming parts to the parts carts.
- Place new parts on parts cart and discard unnecessary parts.
- Bring parts carts to stalls when needed.
- Other duties as required by Location Manager.
Requirements
- Candidates with automotive parts experience will be given priority, but the team is more than willing to train the right candidate.
- Previous customer service/administrative experience is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license required.
