Job Description
Mont-Royal Chevrolet is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Parts Clerk to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality service to our customers as well as supporting technicians and the internal team in the efficient management of parts and accessories.
Main Responsibilities:
- Greet and advise customers at the parts counter with professionalism.
- Respond to technicians' requests by ensuring quick availability of necessary parts.
- Search for, identify, and order automotive parts as needed.
- Manage returns, exchanges, and warranty claims for parts.
- Participate in inventory management: receiving, sorting, stock verification, and cyclical inventories.
- Promote and market parts and accessories.
- Offer support and supervise junior clerks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position at an auto dealership (GM experience an asset).
- In-depth knowledge of parts management systems and electronic catalogs (SERTI, a plus).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Rigorous, autonomous, and well-organized.
- Valid driver's license.
