Capitale Chrysler Quebec, a member of the Laplante Auto Group and network comprising Capitale Chrysler, Ste-Foy Chrysler, Mont-Joli Chrysler, Kia Matane, as well as two Used Vehicle Liquidation Mega Centers, is seeking a Parts Clerk/Sales Advisor to join a dynamic team in Quebec City, QC.
Job Description You will contribute to providing an exceptional customer experience by meeting the parts and accessories needs of individual and professional clients. You will be responsible for quickly identifying the appropriate parts, advising and selling, while ensuring efficient counter and phone service. You will work closely with technicians and sales teams to optimize interventions and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome and advise customers on automobile parts and accessories, understand their needs, and propose suitable solutions.
- Manage sales and orders of parts, prepare quotes, and follow up until delivery.
- Maintain and optimize parts inventory, update the system, and ensure organization and presentation of the counter.
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure a smooth and quick customer experience.
- Provide quality service at the counter and on the phone, handle returns and exchanges according to procedures.
- Participate in promotions, new products, and merchandising activities related to the parts catalog.
Profile and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in auto parts sales or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of automotive parts and accessories with the ability to quickly identify compatible references.
- Excellent customer service skills, active listening, and clear communication.
- Proficiency with computers and a quick learner of parts systems and catalogs.
- Team spirit, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Bilingual French/English is an asset.
- Availability for flexible hours and ability to handle reasonable loads if necessary.
