Ste-Marie Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette, a dealership located in Saint-Rémi, near Montreal, is looking for a parts sales assistant / advisor to join a dynamic and service-oriented team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about automotive parts and accessories and knows how to provide a top-notch customer experience while contributing to the performance of the parts department.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and quickly identify their needs for parts and accessories.
- Advise and sell OEM GM parts and compatible accessories, with the aim of satisfying and retaining customers.
- Manage orders, prepare quotes, process transactions, and follow up on deliveries.
- Coordinate with after-sales service and the workshop to ensure delivered parts meet standards.
- Keep an organized inventory, receive and restock parts, and ensure proper rotation of stock.
- Occasionally deliver parts to customers or service departments, as needed operationally.
- Ensure administrative accuracy and accurately record transactions in parts management systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve sales goals and maintain the dealership's image.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in auto parts sales or a similar role; knowledge of GM parts and accessories is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation; good sales and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team, organized, with administrative rigor.
- Valid driver's license required for occasional deliveries.
- Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
- Proficiency with computer tools and parts management systems (ERP / POS).
