Parts Manager – Mont-Royal Chevrolet GMC Buick Cadillac
Job Description
Reporting to the General Management, the Parts Manager is responsible for the complete management of the parts department to ensure efficient and profitable service, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and excellent collaboration with the Service and Sales departments.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage inventory of parts, including orders, reception, and stock control.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize department profitability.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the counter and warehouse teams.
- Rigorously monitor sales and performance objectives.
- Maintain excellent relationships with internal clients (Service/Sales) and external clients (individual customers, independent workshops).
- Negotiate with suppliers and ensure adherence to GM policies.
- Prepare and analyze department management reports.
Candidate Profile - Relevant experience in automotive parts management (ideally in a dealership).
- Strong team management and customer service skills.
- Good knowledge of parts management systems and computer tools.
- Organizational skills, rigor, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Positive leadership and results-oriented.
- Knowledge of the SERTI system (an asset).
