Production Supervisor - Automotive Manufacturing & Engineering
Location: Oshawa, Ontario, Canada (Onsite) Shift: Rotating shifts (1st: 6:30am-2:30pm, 2nd: 2:30pm-10pm), including Saturdays
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and inspire a unionized automotive manufacturing team. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced production environment while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate employees and improve production efficiency and quality
- Manage production tracking, quality control, and staffing
- Support team development and conduct performance evaluations
- Maintain safety culture and compliance with labor agreements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years manufacturing experience including 1+ years leadership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under rotating shifts
- Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred:
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, particularly with General Motors
- Supervisory experience in a unionized environment
