About the Job
We are looking for a skilled Program Launch Manager to lead automotive tooling and manufacturing programs from initial launch through to full production. You will manage cross-functional projects including tooling, engineering coordination, supplier management, and customer delivery, ensuring successful and timely launches.
Responsibilities
- Lead automotive program launches from purchase order to production
- Coordinate tooling, engineering, and manufacturing schedules
- Conduct program kick-off and design reviews
- Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Oversee tooling design and supplier execution
- Support customer communications and technical updates
- Ensure quality compliance and successful launch
- Track progress and mitigate risks/issues
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in automotive program/project management
- Familiarity with stamping, tooling, or fabrication environments
- Proficient with CAD software (SolidWorks or NX)
- Knowledgeable in GD&T
- Strong communication skills with customers and suppliers
