Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Conduct inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Communicate repair needs and recommendations clearly with Service Advisors
- Complete detailed repair stories, including complaint, cause, and correction
- Verify parts for accuracy prior to installation
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, efficiency, and productivity
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer and industry training
Requirements
- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong experience in mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic repairs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
