Job Description

In order to continue our growth and provide a customer experience that meets Toyota standards, we are looking for a sales representative to join our team. Toyota stands out with its comprehensive offering of hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as a significant ongoing training program offered in collaboration with Toyota Canada, allowing our representatives to develop strong and recognized industry expertise.
Job Summary:
Under the authority of the General Sales Manager, the sales advisor ensures the sale of vehicles by providing personalized consulting services, identifying clients’ needs, and guiding them throughout the purchasing process.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers with professionalism and enthusiasm; • Listen to customers’ needs and advise on the most suitable Toyota vehicles, including hybrid and electric models; • Present the features, technologies, and advantages of Toyota vehicles; • Assist customers through all stages of their purchasing process, from test drive to vehicle delivery; • Collaborate with the financing department to offer solutions tailored to clients’ needs; • Ensure diligent follow-up with customers to maintain high satisfaction rates and foster loyalty; • Stay informed about Toyota products, their features, and current promotions; • Participate in promotional activities, model launches, and dealership events.
Specific Tasks:
• Established contact list for used vehicle purchases; • Follow-up with potential clients; • Lease renewals; • Telephone/email outreach; • Customer follow-up; • Follow-up on web inquiries; • Sale of vehicles (used and new)
Desired Profile:
• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience (experience in the automotive sector will be considered an asset); • Excellent communication and customer service skills; • Strong interest in automotive technologies, especially electric and hybrid technologies; • Ability to build lasting relationships and offer a high-quality customer experience; • Team spirit, motivation, and autonomy; • Knowledge of Merlin sales software (an asset); • Comfort with computer tools and sales management systems; • Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
Working Conditions and Benefits:
• 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday • Salary possibly up to $100,000/year + bonuses based on performance; • Social benefits: medical and paramedical insurance, medication insurance, life insurance.
