Job Description

Fortier Ford, a new dealership of the GENX Automotive Group located in Montreal East, is seeking a dynamic and customer service-oriented new vehicle sales consultant to join our efficient team.

Requirement: a minimum of one year of sales experience; ideally in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in the showroom and online, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions (new and used vehicles, financing options, trade-in).
  • Present the features and advantages of vehicles, including electric models, and answer customer questions with clarity and transparency.
  • Lead the entire sales process: qualifying the customer, negotiating, preparing documents, coordinating with financing and after-sales teams, and following up post-sale.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients and prospects using the CRM, follow up on leads, and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets while providing an exceptional and professional customer experience.
  • Work closely with the financing and after-sales departments to ensure satisfaction and customer loyalty.
  • Keep the showroom and workspaces clean and attractive, and adhere to safety and presentation standards.
  • Actively participate in ongoing training and stay informed about current promotions, new products, and offers.
  • Promote and highlight electric vehicles and sustainable solutions offered by the group.

Profile

  • Minimum of one year of sales experience; automotive experience is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, and effective communication.
  • Team spirit, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple files and leads simultaneously.
  • Strong results orientation and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Good command of IT tools and CRM; ability to quickly learn about financing systems and product sheets.
  • Professional appearance and ability to adapt quickly to current offers and promotions.
