Job description

Subaru Métropolitain, a Subaru dealership in Montreal, is seeking a Sales Advisor to join its dynamic team. You will be on the front line to deliver an exceptional customer experience and guide our customers throughout their purchasing journey. This position requires a results-oriented approach and a constant focus on service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet customers, understand their needs and propose Subaru-appropriate solutions.
  • Present vehicles, conduct demonstrations, explain configurations, options and current promotions.
  • Collaborate with the financing team to propose financing solutions and complete sales documents.
  • Close sales and ensure rigorous follow-up through delivery and in post-sales.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, promotions and CRM tools to optimize the sales process.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and maintain an active pipeline of prospects and customers.
  • Work in sync with the after-sales service to provide a coherent and lasting customer experience.
  • Adhere to internal procedures, compliance standards and security policies.

Requirements and profile sought

  • At least one (1) year of sales experience, ideally in automotive or customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, active listening, presentation and negotiation.
  • Customer orientation, team spirit, autonomy and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and good knowledge of the Montreal area.
  • Bilingual French-English is considered an asset; functional proficiency in French required.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of POS systems is a plus.
  • Availability to work as needed (evenings and weekends possible).
