Confidential Position – Used Vehicle Sales Advisor, based in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec.

As part of the development of its business, an organization in the automotive sector is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Used Vehicle Sales Advisor. This posting is strictly confidential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet customers and assess their needs to offer tailored solutions regarding used vehicles.
  • Present vehicles, conduct demonstrations and test drives, and provide accurate information on the vehicle's features, history, and condition.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle: evaluate vehicles deposited, prepare offers, negotiate and close sales, and handle administrative follow-up and post-purchase customer follow-up.
  • Explain financing options, warranties, and insurance, and prepare the necessary documents for the transaction.
  • Maintain the showroom and demonstration tools in good condition and up-to-date, and use the CRM system to track leads and the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (financing, after-sales service, insurance/warranties) to provide a seamless and quality customer experience.
  • Achieve and exceed sales objectives while respecting internal policies and confidentiality requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in used vehicle sales or a related role within the automotive industry.
  • Excellent customer relations skills, active listening, and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of auto financing procedures and associated insurance options; ability to clearly explain proposals.
  • Valid driver's license; availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in French; English is a plus.
  • Proficiency with computer tools and sales management systems (CRM and inventory management software).
  • Professional appearance, team spirit, organizational skills, and autonomy.
