Job Description

Longueuil Mazda, a member of the Auto Longueuil Group, is seeking a Director of Used Vehicle Sales to lead a high-performing team and raise the profile of our sales on the South Shore and the Greater Montreal metropolitan area. Join a committed, performance- and customer service‑oriented team, in the heart of Longueuil, at 60 Boulevard Roland-Therrien.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the used-vehicle sales team to achieve and exceed monthly and annual targets.
  • Define and execute the used-vehicle sales strategy, including inventory management, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
  • Optimize the customer experience and ensure a high level of satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Manage the department budget, margins, and ancillary revenues (financing, warranties, parts and accessories).
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate the sales staff; establish ongoing training and skills development programs.
  • Collaborate closely with after-sales service and financing to provide a seamless, frictionless experience.
  • Analyze key indicators (conversion, inventory mix, net margin, financing rate, etc.) and present reports to management; adjust tactics accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with Mazda policies and customer service standards; promote the company's values.
  • Represent Longueuil Mazda at local events and develop partnerships to increase visibility and sales opportunities.

Desired profile

  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing a sales team or in an equivalent role in the automotive sector.
  • Proven experience in used-vehicle sales and team leadership; ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills; fluency in French; English is an asset.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and reporting systems; analytical ability and results orientation.
  • Customer service mindset, initiative, organization and time management; ability to work under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and good knowledge of the local market.

  • Knowledge of the Mazda sector and financing, warranties, and post-sales services programs.
  • Experience in stock management, pricing, and inventory planning.
