Job Description We are Joliette Volkswagen, a dealership of the St-Jean Group located in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, and we are seeking a Sales Director to lead the sales team and drive a strategy of sustained growth. You are results-oriented leader capable of creating a performance culture and delivering excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set annual and monthly sales targets and develop corresponding action plans.
  • Lead, train, and advise the sales team to ensure optimal performance and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage the sales cycle and monitor performance indicators (sales, margin, acquisition cost, conversion rate).
  • Develop and execute pricing, promotion, and financing strategies to maximize volumes and profitability.
  • Work closely with after-sales service, marketing, and financing to optimize the customer journey.
  • Analyze data and present reports to management on results and forecasts.
  • Manage the department's budget and expenses; ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for developing the customer portfolio and retaining existing clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience in sales, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Proven leadership, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing sales teams; ability to train and motivate.
  • Good knowledge of the local market and automotive industry trends; knowledge of financing programs and mobility solutions.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel); ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Relevant degree (bachelor’s or equivalent) or equivalent experience; bilingualism is a plus (French predominates).
