Job Description
We are looking for a Director of Used Vehicle Sales. You will be responsible for driving sales, achieving and exceeding targets, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will lead a team of salespeople and collaborate with the financing, marketing and after-sales departments to optimize performance and profitability.**
Main Responsibilities:
- Define, implement and monitor the sales strategy for certified and non-certified used vehicles.
- Manage, train and motivate the sales team; set individual and collective objectives and ensure talent development.
- Manage the sales pipeline and the sales process from inquiry to delivery, using CRM and KPIs.
- Optimize inventory, pricing, promotions and financing/lease programs to maximize margins and turnover.
- Collaborate with after-sales and marketing to ensure a smooth customer experience and positive customer feedback.
- Ensure compliance of business practices, ethics and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze performance, prepare regular reports and propose corrective actions.
- Participate in recruitment and ongoing training of the team.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive sales management, ideally in used vehicles.
- Expertise in leadership, coaching, and performance development.
- Solid knowledge of financing and leasing processes and ability to propose suitable solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, customer service and results-oriented skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and performance analysis; strong command of Excel and POS systems.
- Excellent French communication skills; English is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and availability to work as operational needs require.
- Team spirit, service orientation and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
