We are looking for a dynamic and motivated sales secretary to join our team at Longue Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat. The position involves assisting the sales management by performing various administrative tasks related to automotive transactions.
Main tasks:
- Open and prepare files related to vehicle transactions and dealer exchanges;
- Record vehicle sales and purchases in the computer system;
- Process end-of-month commission sheets for sales consultants intended for the accounting payroll department;
- Produce various statistical reports related to sales, inventory, orders, and management;
- Enter invoices into the computer system and make adjustments to balance accounts;
- Place special orders with suppliers for the purchase and installation of additional items sold to customers;
- Organize and plan exchanges between dealers in collaboration with sales management;
- Send required information to accounting in order to invoice dealership exchanges;
- Send required information to accounting for issuing checks;
- Assist the sales manager with the registration of new and used cars;
- Help the sales manager by preparing documents concerning taxes, liens on vehicles, as well as the documentation required by the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec;
- Prepare the required documents for the registration of demonstration vehicles;
- Process and record all vehicle warranties and all extended maintenance contracts and maintain a register of all contracts that have been processed and mailed.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French; English is an asset.
- Proficiency in computer tools, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Positive attitude, versatility, and enthusiasm.
