Charger Logistics is expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to its team based out of its Calgary office. The role requires experience managing parts for trucks and trailers. The company is looking for a candidate with previous work experience and strong work ethics.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track truck and trailer parts stock levels.
- Order new inventory as needed and transfer invoices to the accounts department.
- Help with the daily planning of repair and maintenance work schedules.
- Enter repair and maintenance work into the company's database.
- Ensure timely service of company equipment, upholding truck and trailer compliance.
- Coordinate with the safety department to notify drivers of services due.
- Use a valid G license to pick up parts from dealerships as needed.
- Pick up and organize common parts within the shop.
- Handle other shop-related tasks as they arise.
Requirements
- Minimum one-year experience as a parts clerk/coordinator.
- Hard worker with a positive attitude.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to work extended hours and on weekends.
- Valid G class license.
- Preferred: post-secondary education.
