The technical advisor's responsibility is to define the repair and maintenance needs of the clients' vehicles. They also have the mandate to sell maintenance services and organize the schedule for the work while ensuring the quality of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome clients upon their arrival and gather information about their car;
- Identify the vehicle's maintenance needs;
- Explain the nature of the work performed and all costs to clients;
- Follow up on files;
- Be responsible for phone inquiries regarding appointments and ongoing work;
- Schedule maintenance appointments and obtain information about clients and their cars before their arrival at the dealership, if possible;
- Sell lubrication services, safety inspections, and other similar services or any other maintenance required by the manufacturer;
- Distribute tasks to technicians;
- Prepare a detailed and accurate quote of labor and parts costs.
Profile
- Knowledge of the CDK/ADP system (an asset);
- Bilingual in French and English to communicate with our bilingual clientele;
- Experience in a similar role (an asset);
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Organizational skills;
- Sense of customer satisfaction;
