Job description
Looking for a stimulating challenge? Fredette Tires and Mechanical is currently seeking a foreman for its service department (tires) to join our team.
A family-owned company operating in the field since 1972, we have 16 service bays and are located on Sherbrooke Street, at the corner of Langelier – just steps from the Langelier metro.
Schedule: Full-time, day shift, Monday to Friday.

Main responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of the service department (tires)
- Coaching and training apprentice mechanics and service attendants
- Planning and organizing interventions, respecting deadlines and service quality
- Ensuring inventory management of parts and equipment
- Analyzing workshop performance and proposing improvements
- Maintaining a safe working environment compliant with standards
Profile sought:
- Experience in mechanical workshop management (minimum 3 years)
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- DEP/AEC or certificate in automobile mechanics (preferred)
- CPA card (an asset)
- Organizational sense and good planning abilities
- Team spirit, leadership and customer service
- French mandatory (spoken and written)
- Valid driver's license
Location: Montreal, QC – relocation possible or ability to commute
