At Chassé Toyota, located in the heart of Plateau-Mont-Royal in Montreal, we are offering a position for a mechanic/technician (first-year apprentice) to join our team dedicated to customer service and technical excellence. Here, learning and professional development are at the core of our culture, with guidance from experienced technicians and the opportunity to work on new and certified pre-owned Toyota vehicles.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Toyota vehicles and other brands according to manufacturer procedures and after-sales service standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs under supervision, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Participate in the installation and replacement of Toyota parts and accessories.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure an efficient and satisfactory customer experience.
- Accurately document interventions and contribute to the maintenance log.
- Respect safety rules, internal procedures, and requirements related to hybrid and electric vehicles.
- Develop technical skills under the supervision of senior technicians and actively participate in internal training programs.
Requirements
- Beginner accepted: first year of automotive mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent diploma.
- Basic knowledge in mechanics, electricity and automotive electronics; strong interest in modern and hybrid systems.
- Professional attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
- Good communication skills in French; English is a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a customer-service and technical-excellence oriented work environment.
