Mazda Gabriel St-Jacques, located in Montreal, Quebec, is seeking a Motorcycle/Technician (Apprentice) to join its dynamic workshop. In this role, you will work alongside experienced technicians to develop your technical skills and provide high-quality customer service. You will operate in a environment focused on excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with diagnostics and repairs on light and utility vehicles.
- Participate in preventive maintenance operations (oil changes, inspections, replacement of wear parts, testing).
- Prepare and clean work areas; ensure cleanliness and safety of the workshop.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment under supervision; record observations and interventions in work orders.
- Perform simple road tests and verify proper operation after repairs.
- Comply with safety standards and manufacturer's and service center procedures.
- Contribute to parts management and inventory tracking.
Profile
- 1 year of experience in auto mechanical field or equivalent training.
- Enrolled in or pursuing a program in automotive mechanics.
- Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and show initiative.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail; autonomy and reliability.
- Fluent in French; English is an asset; valid driver's license (Class 5).
