We are looking for a Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) to join our team at Mauricie Volkswagen, located in the heart of Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Under the supervision of our experienced technicians, you will contribute to delivering a high-quality customer experience and maintaining the standards of excellence that characterize our dealership.

Your responsibilities

• Assist certified technicians in diagnosing and repairing Volkswagen vehicles and others, in accordance with the manufacturer's procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and safety verifications according to technical data sheets and recommended schedules.
• Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of parts, replacement of components, and organization of spare parts in accordance with internal procedures.
• Assist in diagnosing simple malfunctions and escalate more complex cases to the supervisor.
• Use diagnostic and workshop tools and equipment, keep workstations clean, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Document interventions and observations in the internal system and ensure effective communication with the team and internal customers.
• Attend training and procedures related to Volkswagen technologies to enhance skills and career prospects.

Profile sought

• A minimum of one year of experience in a related position or as part of an automotive mechanic training program.
• Entry-level candidate or automotive mechanic student seeking to progress toward advanced technical expertise.
• Valid driver's license.
• Team-oriented, customer service mindset, rigor and ability to learn quickly.
• Technical curiosity, attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards.
