In a automotive workshop located in Bromont, Quebec, we are seeking a mechanic/technician who is passionate about innovation and operational excellence. This position operates in a confidential environment and aims to support our maintenance and repair activities for modern vehicles and state-of-the-art embedded systems.
Responsibilities and duties
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in light-duty and utility vehicles
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective interventions in accordance with OEM procedures and safety standards
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and specialized software to analyze data and establish intervention plans
- Work collaboratively with the technical team to ensure quality, timelines, and safety of interventions
- Maintain clear and precise documentation of interventions and parts used
- Actively participate in continuous process improvement and in the optimization of shop times
- Commit to ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive mechanics
- DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent diploma (or relevant experience)
- Solid knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems and proficient with diagnostic tools (OBD and OEM scanners)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals and related documentation
- Rigor, organizational sense, autonomy and team spirit
- Valid driver’s license
