Job Summary
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Automotive Technician is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure their safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical inspections, diagnostics and repairs on customers’ vehicles.
- Carry out preventive maintenance according to manufacturers’ recommendations.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic issues using specialized tools.
- Perform oil changes, adjustments and tune-ups as needed.
- Ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards before returning them to customers.
- Work with service advisors and team members to provide efficient service.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the shop.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent training.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the field.
- Valid driver’s licence.
