We are recruiting a passionate and meticulous Mechanic / Technician to join our team at Vimont Toyota Laval. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults on Toyota vehicles and associated brands.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs (oil changes, brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning and exhaust systems, electronic diagnostics, etc.).
- Read and interpret manufacturer procedures, schematics and diagnostic codes; use diagnostic tools and software provided by Toyota.
- Document interventions and ensure traceability of work for service advisors and customers.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure optimal turnaround times and impeccable quality.
- Respect safety standards and quality assurance procedures; actively participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement of shop practices.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive mechanics.
- Strong skills in mechanical and electronic diagnostics; knowledge of Toyota systems is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals; proficiency with diagnostic tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- College diploma or equivalent in automotive mechanics; valid driver’s license.
- Fluent French.
- Team spirit, organization and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
