Title: Heavy-Duty Vehicle Mechanic

Location: Kenworth Mirabel (18160 J A Bombardier Street, Mirabel, QC J7J 0H5, Canada)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Salary: $32.27-$39.33/hour

Summary of responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on heavy vehicles;
• Diagnose and repair the pneumatic system, the electrical system, and cab components;
• Perform repairs on all vehicle components;
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components on trucks and trailers;
• Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups.

Qualifications

• DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or another related field
• 4+ years of experience in heavy vehicles;
• French and English
• English language proficiency: basic reading and writing;
• Frequency: daily
• Reason: to follow the repair processes of American manufacturers
• Valid driver’s license Class 5 (Class 1 an asset);
• Possess a toolbox as well as a joint committee card.
