Fortier Ford, a new dealership of the GENX Automobile Group located in Montreal-East, is looking for an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join our modern and air-conditioned workshop.
Position Type: Mechanic / Technician; Status: Full-time
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles according to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and necessary repairs; diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical bulletins, and document interventions in the computer system.
- Collaborate with the after-sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and meet deadlines.
- Follow safety rules, workshop procedures, and quality standards.
Desired Profile
- DEP or equivalent in automotive mechanics; relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an auto workshop.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of modern vehicles; experience with electric/hybrid vehicles is an asset.
- Team spirit, autonomy, organizational skills, and good communication.
- Valid driver's license; bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
