Experienced Mechanic / Automotive Technician
Earn 20% more than your current hourly rate.
Due to the continued growth and expansion of our business, Bernie Auto Centre is looking for an experienced Mechanic / Automotive Technician who is passionate about light trucks and wants to join a professional, well-established team.

What You’ll Do
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Vehicle inspections and diagnostics
- Brake maintenance and repairs
- Suspension and steering work
- Electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Engine-related repairs
- Troubleshooting and solving complex mechanical problems
You will work primarily on Ford vehicles, including Ford Transit vans, commercial vans, and cube trucks.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate:
- Has at least 5 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Has strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Is comfortable working on light trucks and commercial vehicles
- Can work efficiently in a busy, physically demanding environment
- Takes pride in providing quality workmanship and excellent customer service
- Ford certification or Ford experience is a strong asset
Compensation
We’re prepared to offer experienced mechanics 20% more than their current hourly rate.
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and current compensation.
