Job Description
Job Description We are looking for an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join Joliette Mitsubishi, a Mitsubishi dealership located in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, QC. In a dynamic and performance-oriented team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of new and used Mitsubishi vehicles and other brands, in accordance with manufacturer and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles according to manufacturer procedures and quality standards.
- Conduct diagnostics using appropriate tools and diagnostic systems; perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical and electronic systems, and hybrid/electric technologies when relevant.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections; document interventions and parts used.
- Follow safety procedures and participate in quality control of work.
- Collaborate with the service team and ensure responsive and professional customer service.
- Participate in continuous process improvement and technological watch.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position (required).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of modern vehicles; familiarity with Mitsubishi vehicles is an asset.
- Ability to diagnose quickly and propose effective solutions.
- Customer service orientation and exemplary team work; good communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Rigor, attention to detail, and ability to work while respecting safety and quality standards.
