Job Description We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mechanic / Technician to join the Nissan Saint-Jérôme technical team, located in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec. Under the supervision of the shop foreman, you will diagnose and repair a range of Nissan and multi-brand vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and oil changes according to manufacturer programs.
- Diagnose with the help of diagnostic tools and document interventions accurately.
- Replace parts, test systems, and conduct road tests.
- Advise customers on necessary maintenance and repairs and ensure high-quality service.
- Work closely with the customer service team and other departments to ensure timelines and traceability of interventions.
- Adhere to safety standards, internal procedures, and quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive mechanics, ideally in a workshop.
- Knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of vehicles.
- Ability to use manual tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Team spirit, customer service mindset, and good communication skills.
- Diploma or training in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience.
- Availability for flexible schedules; ability to adapt to family needs (schedules adapted to shared custody of children is a plus).
- Professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship.
