Job Description
We are recruiting a Mechanic / Technician to join the Viau Ford team in Saint-Rémi. In an environment where a family atmosphere and stable staff encourage collaboration and professional development, you will contribute to providing top-quality technical work and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford vehicles and other brands according to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and mechanical and electronic inspections.
- Diagnose breakdowns using diagnostic tools, interpret codes and diagrams, and propose durable solutions.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals, clearly document the work performed and parts used.
- Communicate with after-sales colleagues and customers when necessary, ensuring quality customer service.
- Follow safety standards, workshop procedures, and deadlines, while promoting operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize workflows and repair quality.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
- Relevant diploma (DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent).
- Strong skills in diagnosis, repair, and the use of diagnostic tools and software.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems of vehicles, ideally Ford.
- Team spirit, customer service orientation, and ability to work independently when needed.
- Adaptability and rigor in adhering to procedures and quality standards.
