BMW Sherbrooke - Groupe AutoMax is seeking a passionate and experienced Mechanic/Technician to join our workshop in Sherbrooke, Quebec. As part of our commitment to service excellence and the BMW experience, you will work in a modern environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires 3 years of experience in auto mechanics.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on new and certified BMW vehicles.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs in accordance with BMW standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose codes and conduct tests using BMW diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure effective and transparent interventions for the client.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards and maintain an organized workshop.
- Participate in parts management and traceability of interventions.
- Regularly train on the latest BMW technologies (hybrids, electric vehicles, etc.) to ensure up-to-date expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auto mechanics.
- DEP in auto mechanics or equivalent; relevant certification preferred.
- Good knowledge of engine systems, transmissions, electronics, and diagnostics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic and workshop tools and equipment.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues; service-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to work in a dynamic workshop.
- Proactive, rigorous, and detail-oriented.
