NAPA AUTOPRO - Garage Sylvain Bissonnette is looking for an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join a dynamic and professional team. This position requires at least 1 year of experience in automotive mechanics.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles, perform necessary mechanical and electromechanical interventions.
- Diagnose breakdowns using diagnostic tools and follow clear procedures for each intervention.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, and air conditioning systems.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical specifications.
- Estimate parts and intervention time, prepare quotes, and document interventions.
- Ensure the quality of repairs and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Communicate with customers and the team to plan interventions and explain the work performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure proper functioning of tools and equipment.
- Participate in continuous process improvement and contribute to an optimal customer experience.
Profile sought
- DEP diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience; minimum 1 year of experience required.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of light vehicles.
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various automotive systems; good mastery of diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Good team spirit, customer service orientation, and ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Valid driver’s license; availability to work according to workshop needs.
- Fluent in French; English is an asset.
